Parts Coordinator - Beloit, KS

Description:

This position is responsible for the stocking and managing of our parts inventory. Assist customers in finding the right parts, services or accessories needed for their operation and ensure appropriate parts stocking to have the right part on hand for both our customers, as well as service technicians. The Parts Department also manages the retail showroom, keeping it attractive, organized, and well stocked, as well as creating seasonal merchandising displays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the shipping and receiving needs of the Service/Parts Department
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing freight
  • Receive and process all incoming freight to ensure inventory integrity
  • Pull and stock orders for the Service Department
  • Provide customer service at the Parts Sales Counter when needed
  • Execute Parts Department standard processes
  • Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Effective use of computer applications including John Deere parts software, internet explorer, and business systems
  • Communicate, enforce, and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

Requirements:

  • Ability to use basic computer functions including data entry/keyboarding skills
  • Basic knowledge of parts and machinery preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Experience working both independently and in a team setting
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport, and basic understanding of the selling process
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
