Description:
Performs service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealership owned agricultural and turf equipment. May include diagnostic service and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Performs basic repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products. May include diagnostic service and repair
- May perform diagnosis and repair in field when necessary
- Meets minimum recovery and efficiency numbers
- Completes all paperwork required in conjunction with work assignments, including accounting for all time on timecard and for all materials used in performing work assignments
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
- Works with integrity, always upholding company values
Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
- Ability to use basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skill
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
